Research Data Policy
The journal promotes the availability, access, and reuse of research data supporting published articles, in line with open science practices, while considering the specific characteristics of historiographical research.
Where appropriate, authors are encouraged to deposit research materials in open and reliable repositories (such as Zenodo, Figshare, or institutional repositories), including the corresponding link in the manuscript. Authors are also invited to provide information on the availability of the materials used in their research, indicating, when possible:
-
the repositories, archives, or collections where they are available;
-
the conditions of access to the sources;
-
any restrictions arising from ethical, legal, or confidentiality considerations.
The journal acknowledges that, in the field of history, data may consist of archives, documents, testimonies, or other primary sources that are not always digitized or available in open access. Whenever possible, it is recommended that data be presented in open and reusable formats, accompanied by metadata that facilitate their identification and interpretation.
